Service Description
The class will focus on dishes from China, India, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East, and you will learn new recipes and gain a deeper appreciation of the Silk Road and its role in shaping the culinary traditions of the region. You will learn Italian and Chinese Noodle-making techniques. How to make Pita bread (consumed in many parts of the world and used as a staple food and vessel for dips, spreads, and fillings). Middle Eastern spices and toppings. Fattoush, a Lebanese salad with vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, and herbs like mint and parsley, all tossed in a tangy dressing made with lemon juice and sumac. Labneh cheese, also known as labneh, labna, or yogurt cheese. Hummus, a chickpea, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice dip. Suitable for vegetarians
